Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc degree in chemical engineering, heterogeneous catalysis, or related field
- Prior experience in catalyst performance evaluation and reactor engineering
- Experience with catalyst preparation and characterization is advantageous
Description
The successful candidate will focus on:
- Preparation, characterization, and evaluation of heterogeneous catalysts for CO2 conversion into synthetic fuels.
- Investigating structure-performance relationships under industrially relevant conditions.
- Identifying process boundary conditions for efficient mixed feed Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS).
This position is part of the Catalytic Processes for Gas Conversion group within the Green Chemical Reaction Engineering unit at ENTEG, University of Groningen. The successful candidate will benefit from extensive opportunities for personal and professional development.
