Description

This PhD project is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie project MiningBrines, which focuses on developing a strategy for extracting critical raw materials and energy from geothermal brines across Europe. Key tasks include:

  • Implementing geothermal plants in energy system optimization models.
  • Evaluating economic viability and cost competitiveness of geothermal plants.
  • Assessing future demand and price trends for critical materials.
  • Conducting interdisciplinary research and collaborating with international project partners.
