Postdoctoral Researchers and PhD Students: The Schilling Group is inviting applications for exceptional and highly motivated postdoctoral researchers and PhD students to contribute to cutting-edge research in theoretical quantum science. Our group operates at the frontiers of quantum information theory, quantum chemistry, and many-body physics.

  • Strong analytical or numerical skills
  • Scientific maturity and a clear personal drive
  • Background in quantum science or related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Job Description

The successful candidates will engage in ambitious research programs focusing on:

  • Developing advanced theoretical frameworks for strongly correlated systems
  • Code development and benchmarking for quantum chemistry software
  • Exploring correlation structures in molecular ground states
  • Developing efficient quantum algorithms for many-body systems
  • Investigating fermionic entanglement and correlation

Candidates are expected to set ambitious goals for themselves and immerse deeply in their research endeavors. Dedication and a genuine passion for pushing scientific boundaries are highly valued.
