Description
This PhD project aims to develop and validate a scalable and sustainable process for converting biochar into high-performance three-dimensional bio-graphene for use in Li–S battery systems. The candidate will employ techniques such as Fe-catalyzed graphitization and molten-salt templating to create materials with enhanced electrical conductivity, hierarchical porosity, and tailored polar active sites, leading to improved sulfur utilization and long-term cycling stability.
The selected candidate will have access to state-of-the-art laboratories and will closely collaborate with experienced researchers and industrial partners.
