Summary
A PhD position is available for a project that explores the genomic mechanisms underlying the invasion success of Hemipteran pests. The project will focus on two invasive insect species, Cinara curvipes and Leptoglossus occidentalis, using whole-genome data to identify genetic traits supporting their expansion. The position is funded for 48 months, with a competitive scholarship and the opportunity to collaborate with researchers in Poland and France.
