| Mandatory | Doctoral degree in remote sensing, physics, electrical engineering, or related disciplines. Strong communication skills in English. Experience in processing remote sensing data and machine learning algorithms. Good social skills for collaborative work. |
| Preferred | Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years. Experience with terrestrial mapping, large geo-spatial datasets, and SAR data. Teaching experience at the university level. |
Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and validate machine learning algorithms for above-ground biomass density from Biomass satellite data.
- Process large remote sensing datasets and prepare training datasets.
- Present research results at conferences and publish papers.
- Supervise master’s and/or doctoral students.
- Engage in undergraduate/master’s level teaching as needed.
