Description
This PhD position aims to develop a multiscale Virtual Material Design pipeline for neuromorphic spintronics based on topological spin textures such as 2D skyrmions and 3D hopfions. Research will integrate high-throughput relativistic DFT calculations, machine learning applications for symbolically regressed spin-Hamiltonians, and atomistic spin simulations to evaluate materials for spintronic applications. The objective is to identify candidate materials and offer model-based guidelines for optimizing their properties for neuromorphic computing.
