Research Area:

Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Poland.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in civil engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, or a related field.
- MSc degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Very good command of English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of Polish is an asset.
- Scientific profile aligned with road construction technology.
- Knowledge of rheological and chemical characterization of asphalt and polymer materials used in road engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of documented research experience in rheological and/or physicochemical properties of petrochemical materials.
- Experience in presenting research results at international conferences.
Description:
The successful candidate will conduct research on physicochemical, thermal, and rheological properties of bio-modified bitumen, while analyzing the durability and aging resistance of bio-bitumen.
