Eligibility/Qualification
- Recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in Biology or a related field.
- Strong background in cancer biology and/or immunology is highly desired.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong self-motivation.
- First author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to collaborate within and outside the laboratory.
- Organizational and deadline management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical expertise in cell culture, molecular biology, and cloning is required.
- Experience with mouse colony management, genome-editing technologies, histology, microscopy, immunology, flow cytometry, and high-throughput sequencing is preferred but not required.
Job Description
- Research Focus:
- Develop innovative mouse models of prostate cancer to understand genetic determinants of immune suppression and metastasis.
- Investigate heterogeneous senescent cell types and their niches that promote tumor progression utilizing single-cell and spatial approaches.
This position is pivotal in translating basic research findings into therapeutic strategies for treating lethal pancreatic and prostate cancers.
