Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD is required for Grade 7 appointment; candidates without a PhD will be appointed at Grade 6B with backdated payment upon final submission of the thesis.
- Experience with organoid culture techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with single-cell data analysis is necessary.
- Experience with liquid handling robotics is beneficial.
Job Description
The successful applicant will be part of the Cell Communication Lab at the UCL Cancer Institute. Responsibilities include:
- Generating a single-cell ‘phenoscape’ to study the effects of pharmacological signaling activators and inhibitors on colorectal cancer (CRC).
- Performing high-throughput, high-dimensional single-cell perturbation analysis of 100 CRC patient-derived organoids (PDOs).
- Collaborating nationally and internationally with the REWIRE-CAN team.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while maintaining an organized lab environment.
