Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Theoretical Physics or a closely related field (or close to completing)
- Expertise in quantum gravity, renormalization group methods, and/or effective field theory
- Prior postdoctoral and co-supervision experience is highly desirable
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Collaborate actively with other members of the quantum gravity group.
- Contribute to the scientific goals of the group, focusing on approaches such as asymptotic safety and string theory.
- Participate in seminars and research meetings.
- Mentor and supervise students within the group.
- Engage in the academic and scientific life of the Graz Physics Department, including teaching responsibilities.
- Help foster a collaborative research environment.
