Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed or soon-to-complete a Master’s in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, biology, neurosciences, or a related field.
  • No prior PhD degree; candidates must not hold a doctoral degree at recruitment.
  • Must comply with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions mobility rule (not resided in Belgium for more than 12 months in the last 36 months).
  • Excellent command of English (B2 level minimum).
  • Strong interest and experience in metabolism, neuroimmunology, and biomedical research are preferred.

Job Description

  • Investigate lipid transport routes to the CNS and their impact on brain diseases.
  • Identify lipids that enhance tissue repair.
  • Utilize advanced techniques such as lipidomics, RNA sequencing, high-resolution imaging, and flow cytometry.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams, utilizing patient-derived cells and animal models.
  • Participate in training programs, international workshops, and secondments.
