Job Description
The Post Doctoral Scholar will perform basic and applied research in the field of gene therapy solutions, focusing on gene modulation and gene editing to treat ocular diseases and studying Adeno-associated virus (AAV) biology. Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and selecting research problems in collaboration with the Principal Investigator
- Planning and conducting complex experiments
- Coordinating, collecting, and analyzing data
- Preparing research results for publication and presentation
- Supervising assigned research staff and students
- Assisting with laboratory techniques and maintaining lab supplies
