Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in mathematical statistics, mathematically founded data science, mathematical economics, or a related field.
- Strong qualifications in mathematics and statistics, with an advantage for experience in spatial statistics.
- Excellent oral and written English skills.
- Applicants close to completing an MSc are also eligible if they provide a statement from a supervisor regarding the expected completion date.
Job Description
- Conduct research at the intersection of mathematics, statistics, and public health.
- Develop privacy-preserving methods (e.g., differential privacy, synthetic data) for analyzing sensitive health data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering and Science.
- Participate in the Novo Nordisk Foundation Data Science Collaborative Programme and perform research stays at international institutions.
