Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or closely related field.
  • Strong expertise in polymer rheology (experimental and/or computational) and polymer physics and viscoelasticity.
  • Hands-on experience in polymer processing technologies such as extrusion, compounding, or fiber spinning.
  • Preferred Expertise:
  • Experience with interfacial rheology and multiphase polymer systems.
  • Familiarity with multilayer co-extrusion, thermal fiber drawing, or functional thin-film processing.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead research in polymer rheology and processing science.
  • Conduct experiments on bulk and interfacial rheology and dynamics relevant to processing.
  • Establish processing-structure-property relationships for complex polymer composites.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize advanced polymer processing.
  • Publish research findings, contribute to intellectual property, and communicate with industrial stakeholders.
