Eligibility/Qualification:
- Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or closely related field.
- Strong expertise in polymer rheology (experimental and/or computational) and polymer physics and viscoelasticity.
- Hands-on experience in polymer processing technologies such as extrusion, compounding, or fiber spinning.
- Preferred Expertise:
- Experience with interfacial rheology and multiphase polymer systems.
- Familiarity with multilayer co-extrusion, thermal fiber drawing, or functional thin-film processing.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Lead research in polymer rheology and processing science.
- Conduct experiments on bulk and interfacial rheology and dynamics relevant to processing.
- Establish processing-structure-property relationships for complex polymer composites.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize advanced polymer processing.
- Publish research findings, contribute to intellectual property, and communicate with industrial stakeholders.
