Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Experience with Python and modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, MONAI)
  • Strong interest in image analysis, computer vision, and applied machine learning
  • Experience with GPU-enabled High-Performance Computing environments (asset)
  • Open-minded and willing to collaborate within a multicultural and multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • B2-level proficiency in the thesis language

Job Description

The candidate will join the Junior Research Group in AI in Biomedical Imaging, where they will:

  • Develop and implement state-of-the-art methods for image segmentation, detection, classification, predictive modeling, and image enhancement.
  • Focus on creating robust AI models to meet challenges in biomedical applications, especially concerning neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of scientists spanning computer science, AI, and biomedical research.
