Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in inorganic materials synthesis, particularly with solution-based or solid-state methods relevant to perovskite semiconductors.
  • Familiarity with X-ray diffraction and crystallography for phase identification and structural analysis.
  • Knowledge in optoelectronic property measurements and experience in Python programming for data analysis.
  • Desirable: Experience with hardware instrumentation and developing automated synthesis and characterization workflows.
  • Strong interest in collaborative and interdisciplinary research.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct high-throughput synthesis and characterization of metal halide perovskites.
  • Develop scalable and automated workflows for the synthesis and characterization processes.
  • Collaborate with various research groups across the Alchemy Hub, integrating experimental and computational approaches.
  • Lead the drafting of scientific manuscripts.
  • Support day-to-day supervision of Master’s and PhD students.
