Eligibility/Qualification

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Interest in conducting research for a 4-year PhD program.
  • Strong background in wireless networks and machine learning; familiarity with Reinforcement Learning is a plus.
  • Excellent coding skills in Python and C++, and experience with wireless simulation tools (e.g., ns-3).
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Fluent in English (C1 CEFR level).

Job Description

Candidates will:

  • Study state-of-the-art technologies in next-generation O-RAN networks.
  • Design and implement novel intelligent techniques for cellular communications.
  • Develop proactive spectrum management and mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize Agentic AI and Reinforcement Learning for network resilience.
  • Collaborate on proof-of-concept implementations and validate solutions using simulation tools and testbeds.
  • Write high-quality academic publications and assist in mentoring.
