– Strong command of English (B2 level); German skills are advantageous
SalaryPay group 13 (75%) TVöD-Bund with additional year-end bonus
DurationFixed-term of 3.5 years (6 months probation)

Job Description

The PhD candidate will:

  • Develop model predictive control algorithms for energy systems and IT load management.
  • Test control algorithms in a hardware-in-the-loop environment.
  • Integrate data from prototype systems with other project partners’ components.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and participate in conferences to present findings.
  • Mentor master students and contribute to scientific publications.
