Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree or equivalent doctorate obtained no more than 4 years prior to the application.
  • Proven research experience in relevant fields.
  • At least three letters of recommendation, including one from the doctoral supervisor.
  • Strong background in collaborative research and a project outline that demonstrates a joint nature of work between MPG and WIS.

Job Description:

The selected postdoctoral researchers will:

  • Conduct in-depth research and complex experiments within their chosen field.
  • Collaborate with leading scientists at MPG and WIS.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and advance knowledge in their domain.
  • Benefit from a full benefits package, including housing allowance, travel funds (up to €3000 per year), relocation expenses, and health insurance.
  • Start their research project at either MPG or WIS as specified in their application.
