Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Degree: Must hold a PhD (or equivalent foreign degree) completed no later than the time of the award decision. Priority is given to those who obtained their degree within the last three years (extensions considered for special reasons like parental leave or illness).
  • Expertise: Candidates should have experience in areas including (but not limited to) computational/mathematical modeling, data analytics, bioinformatics, systems biology, ecology, physics, or molecular biology.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Language: Good command of written and spoken English.

Job Description

Postdoctoral researchers will:

  • Engage in cutting-edge research at the intersection of theoretical and empirical science.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary supervisory teams.
  • Participate in IceLab professional development activities, including seminars and networking events.
  • Contribute to their specific project goals (e.g., building mechanistic models, analyzing high-dimensional datasets, or designing targeted experiments).
