Eligibility & Qualifications

  • An MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Materials Science.
  • A strong passion for hands-on experimentation.
  • Excellent team spirit with the ability to operate effectively in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Job Description

  • Experimentation & Design: Designing and setting up laboratory experiments to analyze ultrasound signals across various sensor configurations.
  • Data Analysis: Relating acoustic and ultrasonic signals directly to liquid compositions and properties like viscosity.
  • Industrial Collaboration: Working alongside technical universities and industrial partners (including Bronkhorst High-Tech BV) to scale the research into a commercial product.
  • Academic Contribution: Participating in departmental teaching activities within your field of expertise (occupying 10%–20% of your time).
