Eligibility / Qualification

  • Academic Background:
    • Degree in Pharmacy, OR
    • Degree in Chemistry with a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry.
  • Valued Experience & Skills:
    • Strong academic record.
    • Experience in medicinal chemistry and organic synthesis.
    • Hands-on experience with in vitro biological assays.
    • Prior research experience in a relevant field.

Job Description

The predoctoral researcher will participate in a multidisciplinary project dedicated to the synthesis, biological evaluation, and structural optimization of novel modulatory ligands targeting imidazoline $I_2$ receptors for Alzheimer’s disease therapeutic development. The doctoral research will be jointly supervised by Prof. Mercè Pallàs and Prof. Carmen Escolano at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences.
