Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: PhD or equivalent degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Kinesiology / Movement Sciences, or a related field.
  • Technical Experience: Experience in quantitative image analysis, computational modeling, biomechanics (whole-body and/or tissue mechanics), human physiology, or related areas.
  • Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Track Record: Strong publication record and commitment to scientific excellence.

Job Description

  • Conduct research on bone adaptation, fracture prevention, overuse injuries, and rehabilitation under NIH grant support.
  • Utilize advanced quantitative image analysis and computational modeling to analyze whole-body and tissue-level biomechanics.
  • Participate in training opportunities for career development, mentorship, and collaboration with multidisciplinary experts across biomedical engineering, robotics engineering, orthopaedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
