Research Area
Primary Focus: Musculoskeletal Biomechanics & Skeletal Adaptation. Scope: Combining biomechanics, quantitative image analysis, computational modeling, human physiology, and clinical investigation to advance the understanding of human bone adaptation, fracture prevention, overuse injuries, and rehabilitation.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: PhD or equivalent degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, kinesiology/movement sciences, or a related field.
- Technical Experience: Experience in quantitative image analysis, computational modeling, biomechanics (whole-body and/or tissue mechanics), human physiology, or related areas.
- Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Track Record: A strong publication record and a commitment to scientific excellence.
Job Description
The selected candidate will join the team to investigate the role of biomechanics and mechanical loading in skeletal adaptation and injury. This research is currently supported by the National Institutes of Health and offers training opportunities for career development, mentorship, and collaboration with experts across biomedical engineering, robotics engineering, orthopaedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
