Eligibility/Qualification
- Nationality & Age: Open to citizens of any nationality with no age restrictions.
- Academic Excellence: Primary evaluation is based on academic records and professional accomplishments; excellent grade transcripts are expected.
- Endorsement: Applicants must be endorsed by a professor employed at a Swiss higher education institution who is willing to supervise them.
- Mobility Rule: Research must be conducted in a different laboratory from the applicant’s doctoral and (if applicable) current postdoctoral research.
Job Description
Fellows will lead a research project that bridges researchers from the CYD Campus and at least one Swiss higher education institution. The comprehensive funding package covers:
- Salary: Contribution (including social security benefits) based on the salary scale of the host institution.
- Research Costs: Up to CHF 3,000 per year for project-specific equipment (excluding general IT material).
- Conference Costs: Up to CHF 5,000 per year for conference participation and dissemination.

- Stage 1: Pre-proposals are evaluated by an internal committee. Shortlisted candidates will be assigned a prospective mentor for an interview.
