Summary

Eligibility/Qualification
- Open to outstanding researchers of all nationalities.
- Applicants must be under the age of 35.
- Must have obtained their PhD within the past three years (as per the specific round’s deadline).
- Registered postdocs at Peking University may apply if their current contract’s commence/expiring date is not exceeding six months from the fellowship’s commence date.
- For Round One: Ph.D. candidates who are set to complete their degree in 2026 are eligible.
- For Round Two: Candidates who anticipate receiving their Ph.D. by July 1, 2027, are eligible.

Job Description
Boya Postdoctoral Fellows will conduct cutting-edge research under the guidance of a Peking University faculty member. Fellows are expected to leverage Peking University’s unique research capabilities and resources to achieve academic excellence. The fellowship is awarded for a continuous period of 24 months, with opportunities for promotion to senior research positions within the postdoc track at Peking University after two years of postdoctoral research experience.
Funding Package:
- Annual pre-tax salary of 200,000 RMB.
- Social insurances and housing allowances.
- Additional 60,000 RMB subsidy for postdocs without access to postdoctoral housing.
- Discretionary additional subsidy from Postdoctoral Supervisors (30,000 RMB, 60,000 RMB, or 90,000 RMB per year) based on academic potential and performance.

The application process requires candidates to first identify and secure a written endorsement from a prospective Peking University faculty member who will serve as their postdoctoral supervisor. All application documents must be prepared in either Chinese or English.
