We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in bioinformatics and epidemiology to contribute to our ongoing studies on lymphoma. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with national registers, clinical data, and biological information to identify prognostic and predictive markers in lymphoma patients.

Research Area: Medicine, biology, or biochemistry (e.g., molecular/cell/tumor biology)
Location: Uppsala, Sweden
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD in medicine, biology, or biochemistry (e.g., molecular/cell/tumor biology)
- Strong skills in data management, statistical analysis, and modeling (SAS, STATA, and/or R)
- Experience in analyzing genetic data from next-generation sequencing, including whole exome panel diagnostics and programming skills in Linux
- Excellent scientific writing ability and proficient oral communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented, professional, and well-organized
- Knowledge/experience in medicine, particularly oncology, hematology, and immunology, is advantageous
- Experience with pathology immunostaining and multiplex imaging is a plus
- A good publication track record
- Laboratory experience and knowledge are also considered merits
- Good collaborative skills

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will collaborate with Professor Ingrid Glimelius and the research group to investigate novel prognostic and predictive markers in lymphoma patients. The project involves integrating whole exome sequencing data, proteomic data, clinical data, and national register-based data. Key objectives include identifying the characteristics that best predict patient outcomes and late effects. The research will contribute to the field of cancer precision medicine and have the potential for direct implementation in clinical care.
