Staff Scientist: The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) is seeking a highly motivated Staff Scientist to join the Transformation and Metastasis Group led by Dr. Eva González-Suárez. The CNIO is a leading cancer research institute in Europe, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to understand signaling pathways in cancer, epithelial stem cells, and tumor microenvironment interactions. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in an internationally renowned research center with a focus on basic and translational oncology research.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline with an interest in cancer biology
- Outstanding publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with mouse models of cancer and patient-derived xenografts
- Strong technical skills in molecular biology, lineage tracing, and tumor immunology
- Fluent spoken and written English
Job Description: The Staff Scientist will contribute to the ongoing research in the Transformation and Metastasis Group. The primary responsibilities include conducting experiments using mouse models, cell cultures, clinical samples, and molecular and cell biology techniques. The research aims to understand the signaling pathways involved in epithelial stem cell fate, their dysregulation in cancer and metastasis, and the interactions between tumor cells and the microenvironment.
