Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant area of medicine, biology, or biochemistry (e.g., molecular/cell/tumor biology).
- Experience in data management, statistical analysis, and modeling (SAS, STATA, and/or R).
- Proficiency in analyzing genetic data from next-generation sequencing, including whole exome panel diagnostics and programming skills in Linux.
- Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and well-organized.
- Knowledge/experience in medicine, particularly oncology, hematology, and immunology, is advantageous.
- Experience with pathology immunostaining and multiplex imaging is advantageous.
- Strong publication track record.
- Laboratory experience and knowledge are also meritorious.
- Good collaborative skills.
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Position in Epidemiology/Biostatistics and Lymphoma Research
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying novel prognostic and predicting markers by studying whole exome sequencing from lymphoma tumors, proteomic data from lymphoma patients, and integrating clinical data with national register-based data. The project will focus on the identification of biological and personal characteristics that best predict outcomes and late effects in lymphoma patients, using a combination of clinical, biological, and register-based data.
