Post-Doctoral Position in Cell Biology, University of California, USA

Post-Doctoral Fellowship Position at USA, Ozbolat Laboratory at Penn State

Post-Doctoral Position in Cell Biology: The Peter Bradley Lab at UCLA is seeking highly motivated post-doctoral candidates to join our research team. We focus on studying host-pathogen interactions in the opportunistic pathogen Toxoplasma gondii. Using cutting-edge microscopy, molecular genetics, and genomic/proteomic techniques, we investigate the mechanisms of T. gondii invasion and persistence within human host cells. Candidates with expertise in molecular and cell biology are encouraged to apply, and prior experience with T. gondii is not required.

Designation: Post-Doctoral Researcher

Research Area: In a relevant field (e.g., Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Genetics, Cell Biology)

Location: University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA 90095

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Genetics, Cell Biology).
  • Strong background in molecular and cell biology research.

Job Description:

As a post-doctoral researcher in the Peter Bradley Lab, you will contribute to the study of host-pathogen interactions, specifically focusing on the opportunistic pathogen Toxoplasma gondii. Our research employs state-of-the-art microscopy techniques, molecular genetics, and genomic/proteomic approaches to investigate how T. gondii invades and resides within human host cells. While prior experience with T. gondii is not necessary, expertise in molecular and cell biology is highly desirable. You will work closely with Dr. Peter Bradley in the Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics department at UCLA.
