About- Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) was a premier Autonomous Institution of repute established in 1983. It was upgraded as a State University under DELHI ACT 06 of 2018, Govt. of NCT of Delhi and named Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) to provide education and research in the branches of Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Humanities and Management and for the advancement of learning and dissemination of knowledge in such branches and certain other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The University is functioning on its lush green campus spread over 145 acres with a vast sports area and contains a residential campus.

Eligibility/Qualification

For Assistant Professor

  • Essential: First‑class Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) AND a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
  • Candidates must have qualified NET/SET/SLET or be exempted as per UGC/AICTE regulations.
  • Experience: Fresh Ph.D. holders may apply; prior teaching/research experience is desirable.

For Associate Professor

  • Essential: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with First‑class at Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
  • Minimum Experience: 6 years of post‑Ph.D. experience in teaching and/or research in a recognized university/college/institute.
  • Publications: A minimum number of quality research publications in peer‑reviewed/UGC‑listed journals (as per UGC guidelines).
  • Additional: Evidence of guiding Ph.D. students, handling research projects, and contributing to academic administration is highly desirable.

Age Limit: As per UGC/AICTE norms (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS as per Government of India rules).

Job/Position Description

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), a premier technical university under the Government of NCT of Delhi, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) for regular faculty positions. The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies at the levels of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor across various engineering, science, and humanities departments.     After successful online submission, take a printout of the completed application form. Send the signed hard copy along with self‑attested copies of all supporting documents to:
