Job Description: As a Postdoc/Research Fellow, you will work with data from the UKRI GCRF One Health Poultry Hub to assess the impact of chicken production intensification on the risk of zoonotic diseases, with a particular focus on avian influenza, in South and Southeast Asia. The role also involves evaluating potential risk mitigation interventions.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects based on your expertise and interests. This may include developing risk-based surveillance strategies for infections transmitted through livestock trading networks or analyzing the contribution of contacts between fish farms to the spread of fish viruses. You will also have the freedom to propose and initiate new research projects in related domains.
