Postdoctoral Researcher in Battery Materials: Join the Nanoscale Materials and Systems (NMS) group at FZU – Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czechia, and contribute to cutting-edge advancements in energy storage. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in battery materials to propel material synthesis and energy storage technologies forward.

Research Area: Battery Materials for Energy Storage

Location: Nanoscale Materials and Systems (NMS) group, FZU – Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czechia

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. degree in physics, chemistry, or engineering
  • Strong experimental background in electrochemistry and nanomaterials research
  • Previous experience with electrochemical characterization, nanomaterial fabrication, and electrochemical cell assembly
  • At least 3 publications demonstrating research contributions
  • Capacity for independent research, innovative thinking, and project leadership
  • Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Job Description: As a member of the NMS group, you will pioneer advancements in energy storage by developing innovative materials and electrolytes for sustainable and renewable aqueous dual-ion batteries. You will contribute to material synthesis, harnessing unique properties of nanomaterials and electrolytes, and engage in the development of cutting-edge electrochemical energy storage devices.
