Job Description: As a PhD researcher in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NUS, you will be actively involved in cutting-edge research aimed at advancing the field of electrocatalysis for CO2 conversion. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Synthesis and testing of catalyst materials: Conduct experiments to develop novel electrocatalysts for efficient CO2 reduction.
- Characterization of materials: Utilize various techniques such as XRD, TEM, XPS, SEM, and more to analyze and characterize catalyst materials.
- In-situ catalyst studies: Perform in-situ studies using techniques like Raman, FTIR, AFM, STM, etc., to gain insights into catalyst behavior under reaction conditions.
- Product analysis: Analyze reaction products using GC, GCMS, HPLC, NMR, and other analytical instruments.
