Designation: Postdoctoral Researchers

Research Area: Flexible Bioelectronics, Biosensors, Actuator Arrays, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering

Location: Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering with a focus on materials printing, (implanted) bioelectronics, electrocatalysis, and/or electrochemistry, or biosensing.
  • Strong coursework background in electrochemistry, bioelectronics, or biosensing.
  • Hands-on experience with chemical wet lab work.
  • Experience with in vivo experimentation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab and/or Python is desired.
  • Familiarity with SEM/TEM/Raman/XPS/XRD techniques is desired.
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry or immunofluorescence is advantageous.
  • A strong publication record in relevant journals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to meeting research project deadlines.

As a Postdoctoral Researcher in Flexible Bioelectronics at Carnegie Mellon University, you will work on innovative multidisciplinary research aimed at advancing bioelectrical devices.
