Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellowships: Nuffield College and the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford are jointly offering up to three Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellowships (PPRFs) in Politics, covering a broad spectrum of political science fields. These prestigious fellowships are available from September 1, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter, for a fixed term ending on August 31, 2027. Successful candidates will engage in advanced research, publication, teaching, and contribute to the academic community.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed or near-completion of a PhD/DPhil in a relevant field.
- Within three years of the defense date (viva voce examination date) of the doctorate at the time of application.
- Experience in independent research and a track record of high-quality papers commensurate with career level.
- Ability to provide excellent teaching to high-achieving students.
- Willingness to contribute to the intellectual life of the College and Department.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Teaching experience in Political Theory, Comparative Political Economy, or International Relations desirable.
Job Description: The key responsibilities of the Research Fellows include:
- Conducting advanced research in various areas of political science.
- Publishing research findings and participating in conferences and workshops.
- Organizing academic workshops, seminars, or conferences.
- Teaching responsibilities not exceeding 48 stint units per year (equivalent to teaching an eight-week 2-hour seminar series per year).
- Assisting in examining for the Department.

- Full-time, fixed-term posts starting on September 1, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
- Salary of £39,378 per annum.
