Postdoctoral Researcher in Magnetism: The HFML-FELIX is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in magnetism or related fields to work on a project focused on understanding how circularly-polarized phonons can induce ultrafast magnetization switching. This project involves the development of novel laser-based experimental techniques and aims to explore the potential of chiral phonons in driving magnetic switching for next-generation data storage technologies. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with PhD candidates and contribute to research projects.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics or related field with a specialization in magnetism.

  • Experience with ultrafast lasers, pump-probe techniques, and/or large-scale research facilities is a plus.
  • Excellent proficiency in oral and written English.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
