Postdoctoral Researcher in Cybersecurity Sector: The Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join their team in the area of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within the Cybersecurity Sector. This position offers an initial twelve-month appointment with the potential for renewal for an additional academic year, subject to satisfactory performance.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Migration Studies, Gender Studies, Sociology, Psychology, or a related discipline, to be completed by the time of appointment.
- Proficiency in qualitative research methods, including NVivo software, and Grounded Theory.
- Strong background in equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as organizational studies.
- Excellent English language skills and interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment.
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Researcher in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion within the Cybersecurity Sector
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing interview data using NVivo software.
- Developing codes to interpret interview data.
- Applying Grounded Theory to consolidate codes into themes.
- Developing theories based on the codes and themes arising from the interview data.
- Publishing research findings in leading EDI and business journals.
- Contributing to grant proposal writing and development.
- Participating in knowledge mobilization and dissemination activities.
- Engaging in outreach, presentations, and other academic service activities.
Research Environment: The successful candidate will work under the joint supervision of Dr. Rupa Banerjee (Canada Research Chair in Economic Inclusion of Immigrants) and Dr. Atty Mashatan (Canada Research Chair in Cybersecurity and Director of the Cybersecurity Research Lab). This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with other highly qualified personnel in their respective research teams.
