Job Description:
PhD Studentship – Ion Channel Research in Pandemic Coronavirus Therapeutics
- Conduct research in the field of ion channel research with a focus on future pandemic Coronavirus therapeutics.
- Gain expertise in electrophysiology and molecular analysis of viral proteins.
- Work with BSL3 virus culture, including infection of primary patient tissue.
- Engage in structural modeling and molecular dynamics studies.
- Develop chemical probes using Sophion automated patch clamp technology.
