PhD Position – Electrochemical Biosensors: Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD position in the collaborative project between the Carbon Nanobiotechnology lab at CIC biomaGUNE (San Sebastián, Spain) and NanoSelf lab at CICA – University of A Coruña (A Coruña, Spain). This interdisciplinary project focuses on developing nanomaterial-based electrochemical biosensors for pathogen detection. The position is part of a Marie-Curie Doctoral Network project aimed at educating European researchers in biodetection, materials, and electrochemistry.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree (Laurea) in Chemistry or a related field.
- Mobility Rule of Marie Curie Fellowship: Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the call deadline.
- Good theoretical background and previous practical experience in organic or material chemistry.
- Experience in characterization techniques is welcome.
- Good English proficiency (B2 level), spoken and written.
