Eligibility/Qualification:
Master’s Assistantships:
- Admitted to the Master of Science (MS) in Agricultural Education program.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Agricultural Education, Extension Education, Agricultural Leadership, Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Communications, or related fields.
- Three or more years of experience in agricultural education or related fields preferred.
- Program length approximately two years, with a thesis requirement for completion.
Doctoral Assistantships:
- Admitted to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education (concentration in Agricultural Education) program.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree required, preferably in Agricultural Education, Extension Education, Agricultural Leadership, Agricultural Communications, or related fields.
- Three or more years of experience in agricultural education or related fields preferred.
- Program length approximately three years, with a dissertation requirement for completion.

Agricultural Education and Agricultural Sciences Graduate Assistantships
Successful candidates will receive assistantship funding to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Agricultural Education, Agricultural Sciences, Leadership, and Agricultural Science and Natural Resource Communications. Assistantships are 9-month, .49 FTE positions with summer teaching opportunities. Salary and benefits are competitive, and funded assistantships include full tuition waivers.
