Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field
- Desired background and expertise in bioseparations, bioprocessing, process design, TEA, and/or LCA
- Experience with Python, AspenPlus, OpenLCA, COSMOtherm, or other relevant software is a plus
- Experience with advanced instrumentation such as LC/LCMS, GC/GCMS is a plus

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Engineering (Bioenergy & Bioproducts)
The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with Prof. Emma Brace on bioprocessing projects related to biofuels and bioproducts. Responsibilities include conducting lab-scale experiments, molecular modeling, process design, TEA, and LCA. The fellow will have opportunities to mentor undergraduate research assistants, engage in teaching, and contribute to grant writing. Collaboration with other faculty members at Boston College is encouraged.
