27 Postdoctoral Fellowships: The University of Cyprus invites applications for 27 full-time Postdoctoral Research positions under the research programme titled: “ONISILOS – Co-funding International, Interdisciplinary and Intersectoral research excellence at the University of Cyprus.” These fellowships are available to top Researchers worldwide, focusing on specific intersectoral and interdisciplinary disciplines and topics.
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: All disciplines as specified in the ONISILOS MSCA COFUND Programme (Link: ONISILOS Research Areas)
Location: Cyprus
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Researchers of any nationality.
- Holders of a PhD degree from a recognized higher education institution before the ONISILOS call deadline (25/01/2024).
- Must comply with the MSCA mobility rule: not resided or carried out main activity in Cyprus for more than 12 months in the 3 years before the call deadline.

27 Postdoctoral Fellowships within the ONISILOS MSCA COFUND Programme
Successful candidates will be appointed under a two-year full-time employment contract, enjoying the same working conditions, safety standards, administrative support, and services as other researchers at the University of Cyprus. The employment conditions adhere to the “Charter & Code for Researchers” regulations.
The monthly salary includes allowances:
- €3080.94 Living allowance (Gross monthly salary)
- €291.55 Mobility allowance per month (Gross monthly salary)
- €194.36 Family allowance per month (Gross monthly salary), for married researchers or those with equivalent recognized relationship status.
Fellows can request additional budget for research purposes such as conference participation, seminar registration fees, and consumables.
