Postdoctoral Teaching Position: Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU), one of Germany’s largest and most prestigious universities, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Teaching Position at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science (GSI). The position, based at the Teaching Unit for Digitalization and Political Behavior under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander Wuttke, is a part-time role starting on April 1st, 2024, for two semesters.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed doctorate in political science or the social sciences by the appointment date.
- Teaching expertise in political science.
- Preferably expertise in quantitative methods.
- Proficiency in the R Programming language is desirable.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting one BA or MA seminar in the Summer Semester 2023 and Winter Semester 2023/24, with a preference for a focus on research design or quantitative methods.
- Collaborating on ongoing research projects or initiating new joint research projects in computational social science or research on democracy and digitalization (welcome but not mandatory).
- Creating an inclusive, constructive, and supportive working environment.
- Teaching courses in either German or English.
- Offering the flexibility to relocate to Munich, although it is not a mandatory requirement.
- Reusing existing course material if fitting.
- Optionally combining the position with an existing one at LMU (up to 50%) or another university (up to 70%).
