PhD Scholarship in Epigenetics: Join the cutting-edge research at the Institut NeuroMyoGene, Inserm, Claude Bernard Lyon I University, exploring the molecular mechanisms of LSD1 in modulating muscle stem cell plasticity during skeletal muscle regeneration. This 3-year “Contrat Doctoral” scholarship, funded by UCBL1 via the AFM-MyoNeurALP2 strategic plan, offers a unique opportunity to unravel the intricate connections between epigenetics, protein methylation, transcription, and muscle regeneration.

Scholarship Description:
PhD Scholarship in Epigenetics: Role of LSD1 Lysine Demethylase in Muscle Stem Cell Plasticity
Investigate the role of LSD1 lysine demethylase in determining muscle stem cell fate decisions during skeletal muscle regeneration. Utilizing molecular, cellular, and physiological approaches, coupled with multi-omics at the single-cell level, this project aims to decode the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying LSD1-mediated muscle stem cell division in a physiological context.
