  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry

  • Expertise in synthesis, with additional experience in cell biology, nanoparticles, or physical chemistry considered a plus

Job Description:

  • Conduct research in the development of multimodal bio-imaging probes using metal complexes
  • Investigate the incorporation of probes into silica nanoparticles for enhanced sensitivity
  • Explore different methods to prepare monodisperse functionalized silica nanoparticles
  • Study the toxicity and sensitivity of the developed probes in cells
  • Collaborate on the functionalization of nanoparticles for targeting specific organelles
  • Engage in conventional fluorescence imaging and synchrotron-based X-fluorescence imaging
  • Start date: February 1, 2024 (or March 1, 2024)
