About- Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur (IIITN) is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology established under the Public-Private Partnership Scheme by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. IIITN has been declared an “Institution of National Importance” under the Indian Institute of Information Technology (Public-Private Partnership) Act, 2017. The Institute is presently functioning under the Department of Higher Education; the Department of Higher Education supports the Ministry of Education and Government of Maharashtra and Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai, as an Industry Partner.

Eligibility-

Candidates who have completed defense for the PhD before closing date for the receipt of the Application Forms will have to attach the Certificate / Notification mentioning that Candidate is declared eligible for award of PhD Degree.
Desirable Experience: Minimum one year will be preferred in Teaching / Research / Industry.
Desirable Requirement: Candidate having PhD from CFTIs like IITs, NITs, IIITs, INIs etc will be preferred. The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.
Job/Position Description-
Note: – The above posts of AAPs are to be filled-up on purely temporary & contractual basis for initial period of 11 Months.
The relevant details are as under:
Primarily Teaching along with Academic, Administrative, Student Activities and Research related functions.
Reporting To: Associate Dean / Head of the Department or as advised from time to time.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 65,000/- per Month (For PhD Holders)
Rs. 60,000/- per Month (For Non-PhD Holders)
- IIITN encourages its Faculty Members for active research, consultancy and skill enhancement training for revenue generation. Candidates who are qualified and are having such skills, capabilities resulting in revenue generation, institute brand development are most encouraged to apply.
- The Institute may offer Bachelor / Family Accommodation on chargeable basis to selected candidate, if available.

Applicants are not required to send hard copy of the application to the Institute. However, the applicants are advised to email the copy of the application on recruitment@iiitn.ac.in in addition to filling Online Application.
- Candidates are advised to fill the Online Prescribed Application Form within the stipulated time. The Recruitment Portal shall be closed on due date & time. The candidates would have to upload the relevant supporting documents online.
Further, the Candidate will have to bring the original and one set of self-attested photocopies of documents at the time of interview, date of which shall be intimated to the eligible candidate in due course.
