ANID 2025 Postdoctoral Competition: The UC Institute for Sustainable Development invites applications from researchers with doctoral degrees to apply for institutional sponsorship for the “Fondecyt Postdoctoral Competition 2025”. This sponsorship opportunity aims to support individuals conducting research aligned with the Institute’s areas of focus and affiliated academic researchers.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral degree holders interested in applying for the Fondecyt Postdoctoral Competition 2025.
- Applicants must meet the requirements stipulated in the rules of the Fondecyt Postdoctoral Competition 2025.
- Demonstrated alignment of research interests with the Institute’s focus areas.
- Excellent research proposal, academic CV, and recommendation letters related to previous academic work.

Job Description: The selected candidates will receive sponsorship from the UC Institute for Sustainable Development for their application to the 2025 Fondecyt Postdoctoral Competition. If successful, postdoctoral students will join the academic community and are expected to participate in Institute activities and contribute to postgraduate workshops. Additionally, sponsored candidates will present their research work at academic events organized by the Institute.

- Pre-postdoctoral research project aligned with one of the Institute’s research lines (refer to Annex 2).
- Workshop proposal for postgraduate students.
- Detailed academic CV.
- Certificate of the doctoral degree.
- Recent research article (published or unpublished).
- At least one letter of recommendation related to previous academic work.
