Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in microbiology, cellular biology, cellular microbiology, or immunology
  • Expertise with microscopy and live imaging
  • Experience with tissue culture
  • Expertise in biochemistry
  • Expertise in molecular biology (especially DNA/RNA extraction and manipulation)
  • Academic integrity and rigor
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Excellent communication and note-keeping skills
  • Honest and accurate reporting
  • Experience supervising students

Job Description:

The successful candidate will develop and execute a research project aimed at elucidating the functions of IFNs and their ISGs in Salmonella infection. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and conducting experiments
  • Analyzing data and preparing publications
  • Communicating research findings
  • Supervising junior staff and students
  • Ensuring laboratory safety and compliance with regulations
